KRFC 88.9 FM is powered by passion, not playlists. As a volunteer-driven, non-commercial station, we champion independent music and give our 70+ DJs the freedom to curate their own shows—spinning everything from timeless classics to undiscovered gems.
We welcome music submissions in all genres. Whether your sound is rooted in rock, steeped in jazz, shaped by global traditions, or defies categorization altogether, there’s space for it here at KRFC.
When submitting your music—physically or digitally—please include a one-sheet with the following:
- Artist name
- Genre and “For fans of…” recommendations
- Brief bio and release story (plus hometown and state)
- Track titles and run times
- Highlighted tracks you recommend for airplay
- Upcoming tour dates in Colorado or the region

We broadcast on 88.9 FM on your FM dial. Our signal can be heard in Fort Collins, Loveland, portions of Greeley, Longmont and other Front Range towns and cities. Away from home, no problem, there are several ways to get your fix!
