Sophie West is a Denver-based singer/songwriter whose powerful vocals and vivid storytelling blend blues, soul, and folk into deeply personal original songs. She is also a founding member of the Colorado jam band, West of Fennario.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Sophie began performing at a young age and played renowned venues like Yoshi’s, Slim’s, and Café Du Nord before graduating high school. After studying at CU Boulder, she became a fixture in Colorado’s music scene, performing with funk and rock projects and playing iconic venues such as the Boulder Theater, Fox Theater, and Dickens Opera House, while opening for acts including Orgone and The Samples.
A cross-country van journey led to a three-year stay in Memphis, where she continued writing and recording, collaborating with Keith Douglas of Tora Tora on multiple releases, including Coming My Way, re-released in 2024 on Remnants of Euphoria.
Whether fronting a full band or performing solo, Sophie’s live shows are soulful, dynamic, and rooted in genuine connection—an experience not to be missed.
